ANNUAL COMPETITION RULES
(Amended 1994)
SILVER MEDAL
- An entry shall consist of 12 sheets on any philatelic subject of the competitor's choice.
- Every entry shall be the sole property and work of the competitor.
- A title page shall be included as part of the 12 sheets and may contain philatelic material.
- The winner shall not be eligible to enter the same material in any future Silver Medal competition.
- A member may submit more than one entry.

BRONZE MEDAL
1. An entry shall consist of 9 sheets, not being of an advanced or specialised nature.
2. Every entry shall be the sole property and work of the competitor.
3. The Hon. Secretary shall scrutinise all entries to ensure that rule 2 is observed.
4. The winner shall not be eligible to enter the same material in any future Bronze Medal competition.
5. The Silver Medal Competition shall be judged first, and if the winner has an entry in the Bronze Medal Competition it shall be withdrawn.
6. A member may submit more than one entry.

JOHN BURGESS THEMATIC TROPHY
1. An entry shall consist of from 9 to 12 sheets.
2. Every entry shall be the sole property and work of the competitor.
3. An introduction page shall be part of the 9 - 12 sheets and may contain philatelic material.
4. The winner shall not be eligible to enter the same material in any future John Burgess Trophy competition.

BRIAN de BURCA POSTAL HISTORY TROPHY
This trophy will be awarded to the highest-scoring postal history entry in the Silver Medal competition.
